This is our first air fryer and so far we are thrilled. Let me start with the good: it cooks quickly with almost no oil or fat. This is supposed to mean that the food is healthier. We cooked 7 chicken drumsticks in 40 minutes - Very easy to use - It's versatile, can cook almost anything that can be cooked. It can even toast bread in a pinch - Looks good and cleans efficiently without taking up too much counter space. Not so good: - Cleaning required after each use. We cooked chicken drumsticks and a sausage and vegetable platter and there was some residual fat inside, especially on the top and upper heating elements. Cleaning is relatively easy, I used Clorox degreaser wipes and walked about 5 before the inside was decently clean. Some parts cannot be cleaned, e.g. B. the lower heating elements. There is no easy way to remove the metal covers to access them for cleaning. When we first cooked the chicken, we had some fat because we didn't install the bottom pan to catch the fat. Be sure to use these. - Cooking times are slightly different in the brochure provided. They said 30-35 minutes for drumsticks at 400F (Air Fry) but in my experience they need at least another 10 minutes or the insides won't cook. You'll also have to turn the chicken halfway through or the bottom won't cook properly. We used WallyWorld chicken, so your results may vary. A non-stick pan deforms at 400F. Once removed from the fryer, it will return to its normal size. Overall we are very happy with this air fryer and will be using it in the future. It's very quick, the food is tasty (if you factor in the cooking time) and healthy.
