Bought 16 for my 12 year old son, 5ft tall, skinny, about 78lbs. He usually wears 12-14 in tight pants. The length of the arms and legs is perfect. The waist is quite loose but with an elastic at the buttons. The only problem, and it's quite a big one, was that one side of the elastic buttons was sewn into the pants to keep them from stretching. We only need to tighten one side to balance the whole game. Since the waist is hidden by the vest, you don't see that, but without you you can tell that the pants are too tight on one side. Otherwise the quality is good. The fabric is good. Edit: This is a year later and I've decided to buy another size up tuxedo this year. I understand the tuxedo is a size 12 although I bought a 16. Last year the tuxedo fit really well so I had no doubts but that just means I have no idea what size to buy this year. Do I buy 14? buy 18? Do I get the size I ordered?
