My son turned 6 months last week. I was looking for new toys for him that would stimulate his rapid development. This ball has arrived tonight. I washed it with soap and water and handed it to him. My four year old son hurried over to see how his little brother would react to all the textures. My boy never stopped smiling. For some reason, with a playroom full of toys, my sons bonded with her and were able to interact with her. My eldest son takes the baby's fingers and describes each texture to him. "Bumpy" "Ridges" "Moon Craters" "Tornado Trail" I'm sure if the kid weren't around my four year old would try to kick a ball across the house - but right now it's a lovely moment that they share. .I saw it a few times before ordering. For less than $19.99, this is a great, fun little resource for any kid to hold and ride. One of the questions asked is if this would make a good teether. It's a big rubber ball filled with air.
