Review on Marineland PA0137 04 Rite Size Cartridge 4 Pack by Cheryl Griffin

I bought these cartridges for 2 Marineland Emperor filters. The filters on the outside are noticeably covered with tons of coal dust and loose soot. I have other filters and when you flush the cartridges there is always carbon powder but it doesn't harden and all the filament is covered in dust. The assembly is good, but the assembly is bad. Supplied in a plastic bag in a box. When you're done with the cartridges, you'll see carbon and charcoal dust residue all over the plastic bag - a decent amount. I actually got rid of the filters and switched to higher quality filters with custom media components. I'm glad to be done with these sea lands.
