This is my second purchase of the exact same watch it says how old this model is. It's actually not easy to find. I get compliments on the olive green bracelet with the shocking pink stripe all the time. The seconds hand and huge numerals stand out well against the cream background, especially when backlit. I have small and bony wrists (about 5 1/4 inches in circumference) and I wear this with some ribbon left on the penultimate hole. The excess hides in the buckles and looks ok - what I'm aiming for is twofold: it's a unisex strap and case (about an inch wide), any larger size would look ridiculous on me. And I don't mean "see friend". I mean big cheap watches that don't fit well. Looking through the reviews I remembered that I had used the Fray Check on another band of mine and should do the same with this one as wearing a fabric watch strap is a legitimate risk. I wear this watch when I work in the garden, walk my dogs or do other leisure activities. He survived limited contact with water, like forgetting to take it off while jumping in the shower or working in the pool, but no more. The case literally survived the war, and what can I say?
