Review on Finderomend Wireless Charger Clamping Compatible by Sean Ceo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Convenient, Efficient, Affordable

Disclosure: Revain Vine offered me this product for review. I pay taxes to the IRS on its value as "unearned income" for the current tax year. I've tried car phone mounts in the past, but sometimes they were difficult to use when you wanted to charge your phone via a cable at the same time. Now that I have a phone with wireless charging capability, I decided to try this holder/charger. I was happy to see that the device uses a USB-C connector as it minimizes the amount of cables I need. I know that devices that are attached to the dash with adhesive tend to loosen and fall off over time, so I opted for a vent clip instead. After closing the vent for the first time (no need to cool or heat the phone!) I was able to attach the clip to the horizontal vent opening. The vertical ventilation grille is not securely fastened. The included USB-C cable was long enough to thread behind the steering wheel. I was surprised to see that the mount has a small motor built into it that automatically senses the phone's proximity and opens and closes once the phone is placed in the mount. My first thought was "how soon will this break?" but see the last sentence in my review. loading is ok; The speed depends on the power output of the source (car USB port or adapter). I would avoid higher wattage/fast charging as it minimizes heat and thus affects the battery less. You can remove your phone. You may have to get used to not accidentally touching them. There seems to be a small battery or capacitor in the charger that allows you to take your phone out even after a power outage (if for some reason it doesn't work you'll have to turn the ignition to the accessory position to power the charger charger - that didn't happen to me). An efficient and worthwhile device, especially at the [low] price.
