I recently bought a new AV receiver and added some floorstanding speakers and now I have a 9.2 channel system - too many cables and connectors. This and other wires I bought are part of my solution. All of my new cables are banana plugs, and come in a variety of colors and lengths. The different colors make it easy for me to tell which port on the receiver goes with which speaker. The varying lengths allow you to connect speakers without cutting the wires to length or twisting and attaching additional wires to the speaker.
