Review on Philips Norelco Beardtrimmer Bt9295 41 by Jacki Beauchene

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Either the blades are not very good or the motor is not fast enough

Terrible product for various reasons, the main ones are: 1) I fully charged it after unpacking and after use It has been used until the battery was dead - as you should do according to the instructions and any lithium-ion battery in general. On my next attempt to charge the trimmer for wireless use, the battery died immediately after removing it from the charger and attempting to use it. To make matters worse, I've just started using it while plugged in to avoid instant battery drain when unplugged. 2) If you have a thick beard, it takes sooooo long to get an even trim with this trimmer. Either the blades aren't very good or the motor doesn't run fast enough, either way it's a tedious process, especially compared to the Wahl trimmer I replaced earlier; and 3) Even though it had to be plugged in to use it and took eons to trim, yesterday decided it just wouldn't trim when I wanted to go downhill (cheek to chin I think). He would just pass out and die. Connected? Check. Are the blades clean and free of obstructions or hair? Check. It works out? no I've only owned this trimmer for a month and it was a swan song yesterday. Save your money and find something more reliable. The laser guidance obviously never counted as the battery could barely control the blades, let alone the trick I tricked myself into doing.
