I bought a new 6 hp shop vacuum cleaner. at a home storage facility, about 10 blocks approx. The 2 foot sections allow you to stow the vacuum extensions, this kit and the 20 foot telescoping window cleaning pole and have tremendous flexibility in vacuuming leaves from my bottom and top chute sections. I just use as many extensions as I need with this part on the end and I can suck the leaves out of the gutters. When making the top tier, I temporarily tape a window cleaning rod to the extensions every 2 feet for some stability/rigidity. I usually put a hooked section at the end to suck up the leaves, but the narrower section works when the leaves are crumbled and you want to suck the dirt and debris out of the pebbles. $250 twice a year. While I'm at breakeven/ahead.
