This hat is a great size. If you have a big head it will fit. I'm currently wearing an 8-1/8 MLB cap from 9twenty. This hat has an adjustable closure at the back. If you're used to trying on a regular size button closure on the back and you have to put it to the very last notch to get the largest size and it's still too small then you know what I'm talking about. Chapter. This Armycrew XXL is a hat size with all the notches when opened out of the box and it fits my large head instantly! I moved the neckline to make it slightly larger for comfort. But this is the best cap size I have ever tried. For comparison, I bought a 2XL-3XL Light Brushed Twill Washed Soft Cap from e4hats here at Revain and it has a stretch fit, no closure at the back. This floppy twill hat is very large, I think more than I need, but I kept it and wear it on hikes and to the beach (this hat has a long brim but I like it). This army hat has a normal visor, not long. , fits just like a 9twenty hat and just has a great fit. Got gray and plan to patch it up and also plan to get other colors from this brand. Make no mistake for us big heads.
