As a former hairstylist of 28 years experience I have found the Conair to hold up better than any other hair dryer I have used. When I was working, Yellow Bird was amazing. I ordered this one because Yellow Bird is too heavy for me and I just needed a small dryer. It's strong enough and I love how the punch feels in my hand, I have arthritis and it fits the bill.
