Great light, just what we were looking for. Note that the tasteful on/off switch is on the base. Looks beautiful. Two tips. When installing the mounting plate, first make sure the screw holes are level and ignore the other internal support seams - ours were skewed but that doesn't matter. Second, we needed more cable coverage. . The cable covers are fully enclosed around the cable and cannot be removed or added due to the connector at the end. However! My husband hacked it. We bought two lamps. Carefully disconnect the wiring from both lights, remove the covers from one, add more of the light we're using, then reconnect the lights. It took about 45 minutes. Difficult, but it worked. Basically had to spend an extra $60 on parts but we really wanted this light. The other light can still be used, only now there are no more cable covers. Also, the cord caps are metal and threaded at each end, so they fit together really well and look clean. Overall great light and satisfied!
