Review on 🔒 ESI Ultra Cap Seal: 1 1/2" x 5/8" EPDM Rubber, 20' Length - Ensures Secure Fit for Caps over 200 lbs by Phil Casey

I ordered this after visiting 3 different dealerships where I found only light foam seals. In my experience, this type of seal loosens after the truck cover has been removed or removed multiple times. This product is great. It is similar to what I replaced on my 20 year old fiberglass empty truck body. The instructions say to start with a clean surface, which in my case is next to impossible as the old sealer didn't come off cleanly. I tapped the surface of the topper with a razor blade/knife and acetone and then applied a new sealer which seems to have adhered well and kept out the weather. It also easily detaches from the truck bed when I remove the topper. This product costs a few bucks more than cheap styrofoam grommets unless you never remove the truck bed cover, in which case cheap grommets can work.
