well built and supportive seats. but 3 major design flaws

I got this chair based on best day and 4-5 star reviews. The chair feels sturdy and the seat is comfortable and comfortable. The armrests are adjustable in many directions. This is where the convenience ends. I'm 6'1" and have a 32" inseam (to show my leg length). This chair is a little too high in the lowest position for my legs to be at the right angle to fit under the keyboard tray on my desk. Given my height, this chair will make your legs dangle or bite on the back of your leg if you're shorter than me. I found this absurd as the average height of both men and women is smaller than me which means the chair will not fit most users. I checked to make sure I assembled it correctly, looked at my old chair and found the main issues. . The lift cylinder is too long with 3 inch stroke for the chair design. The real problem lies in the foundation. It's a few inches higher than the base of my old chair. This makes the lifting cylinder too high. The base of the chair allows the cylinder to go through the base about 1/4 inch at the final resting point. The base of this chair has a cylinder about 1/4 inch from the bottom. This is generally 1/2 more than the height of the cylinder. Finally, the wheels are taller than my old chair. All of these factors result in a much higher "lowest chair height”, all of which prove important as the seat foam is nice and thick so you end up sitting even higher.

Pros
  • A STRONG STEEL FRAME sits on a five-star nylon base supported by a Class 4 hydraulic gas piston Add sports car-inspired bucket seats made of cold-cure foam, carefully upholstered in luxurious synthetic leather. Unlike entry-level gaming chairs with cushions, we've included dynamic 2" lumbar support and an oversized headrest with cold-cure foam cushions.
Cons
  • flimsy
