I ordered this one to get a basic whole house Wi-Fi system with some speed. Okay, ASUS is known for its speed and Amazon has always taken good care of me in the past. That's what happened. 05/16/2019 - I bought an ASUS AX6100 2 pac from Amazon and am having problems with shutdown and restart. Building a wireless airmesh transport network. Loss of all connections, wired and wireless. Wireless strength while running was variable at best. The internet modem worked perfectly. I re-uploaded the firmware, factory reset etc. no difference. Contacted ASUS/Revain and within 2 weeks of trying to fix the issue, all as suggested by Asus and made no difference. Amazon replaced, cool too. 05/21/2019 - Received a replacement from Amazon. It was fine for a couple of weeks, then the same problems again. Few more weeks, complained to ASUS again, sent logs etc and used lots of diff settings as per their recommendations. I received a 3 page list of different diff configurations, ASUS wanted me to try and see if any of them worked. They even said they couldn't be sure. Contacted Amazon and said the same problem persists. They told me to try all Asus features first. I asked if the time spent would affect my return option if I did and figured it wouldn't. Has partially worked after several firmware updates and reboots. Still losing some network connection but better. I contacted Amazon again and told them about the situation and that I had contacted them a few weeks earlier to let them know about the issue and they wanted me to work through ASUS first. I was told there shouldn't be any problems. After that I was able to contact them for support. Now it's getting worse and worse. It's been bad since last weekend, no more games can be played on this router, Smart TV requires manually restarting the router every few hours or so. ASUS doesn't fix this so I contact Amazon. I asked for this to be returned and replaced with another router. I would pick and pay any extra money over and above the cost of the Asus Airmesh routers. Now they say it's been 4 days since they closed returns so I'm stuck with faulty airmesh routers. But I can contact ASUS for product warranty support and let them know how it turned out. ASUS Support will only replace my new non-working routers with refurbished returned routers if their second level support is eligible. Here the end seems clear. Get it back quick or you're stuck now. I've never had this problem when Amazon would accept a return if a complaint was made within the return period. Now I have, okay. As for ASUS, I'm not sure, but customer support isn't very helpful.
