I installed Flexy Flares on my '87 Ford 4x4 Econline. I did this because I couldn't find matching fenders anywhere. Shortly after my flares arrived I finally found the assembled flares at a junkyard. I want to return Flexy Flares. The quality of these torches is actually quite good. The fact that they have developed a flash that fits so many cars is truly amazing. Installation is not that difficult. You need to take your time to find the right shape and cuts. It's also good to have help. I tried installing them without removing the wheels. Take your time and remove the wheels - I ended up having to. Much easier with the wheels off. You can fit almost all of the screws without removing them, but the last few screws will destroy you. Expanders will never look like installed flares. Since installing mine I've noticed these flares on another van. The appearance was very similar, although the other torches were larger. If possible, I recommend larger bell-bottoms. If you have the opportunity to purchase flared trousers, then you should definitely choose this option. If you don't, you'll probably find that these flashes do the job and look great. For what they do, they're actually a pretty impressive product.
