This is a beautiful clipper set with an attractive tapered body. Titanium/ceramic blades are sharp and ensure an efficient cutting process. There are 2 speed settings (3 - off, zero speed haha), the lower speed producing less noise/buzz. This speed setting should be ideal for young children who can be agitated by noise. But even on a faster setting, I didn't find the noise level to be too harmful. At maximum speed, the battery discharges much faster. Either that or the battery gauges don't reflect the exact discharge rate. In operation, however, the motor ran smoothly and the housing did not heat up. Whether this is a problem is difficult to judge at the moment. At the bottom of the trimmer, you can rotate the base to change the depth of the built-in blade. This setting along with the hair guides increases the hair length range. However, I should point out that the hair length caps are pretty short, even with the built-in depth adjuster. Included in delivery: cleaning brush, USB charging cable, 4 hair guides and instructions. All accessories have original design and quality. This is standard and the same in most other hair clipper kits. The trimming blade is wider than 1.75", which is wider than many of its competitors. My Wahl corded clippers have a 2" wide blade head, which puts it close to the trimmer I use as my base standard in terms of efficiency. I have some concerns about the battery/battery efficiency indicator. The product specs state that a full charge should take 3-5 hours. After fully charging I let the device run for an hour, let it cool for 10 minutes, checked the battery status and 40 % displayed. The tool was running at maximum speed, which is likely to drain the battery more quickly. Overall, this is a very competent trimmer/groomer. The noise level is very acceptable. It has a number of desirable characteristics. It gets a rating of 4.0 to 4.0 4.25 stars with a moderately high recommendation.
