Since it is intended to be applied directly to the eyelid, it does not get into the eyes at all. I've been using it 24/7 for at least 5 years. I have big eyes so I look older if my eyelids ever get dry or droopy. I'm 56 and this was such a good product. The eye shadows are easy to apply, but in fact I rarely use eye shadows.
