I had previously been using a Lenovo keyboard and mouse set. Although the set lacks ergonomics, everything functioned without a hitch, and overall, the workmanship is of a high standard. I made the decision to move to a Microsoft ergonomic solution. purchased a black Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop on ebay.com. Strange issues started the first day after unpacking. The keyboard broke off and stopped working after a minute of work, but everything was decided with a boom. Only the mouse remained functional. At first, there were considerations of returning this company to the retailer. after reading those and the forums the following day. Microsoft support discovered that these issues are generally experienced by lots of consumers. I used a functional Lenovo X1 Gen4 to test my setup. The keyboard would not cooperate consistently. On the domestic Asus n56VB, everything appeared to function. The situation got better after some tweaks. The following links could be useful: After switching from my regular keyboard to the one I use now, the transition was seamless; after a few days, I was able to type as comfortably as before.
