first... the person who wrote the review about the lack of ink in the pens: They are CONVERTERS, they are refillable, converters NEVER come with pre-filled ink as fountain pens tend to leak. (By the way, keep the pen cap on top to avoid spilling.) To fill the converter, make sure to twist the tip to push the plunger all the way down to the tip (nib). Put the tip into the ink bottle and twist it in the opposite direction to suck the ink to the converter. That's it! Use a napkin or towel to wipe excess ink off the nib and you have successfully filled the fountain pen converter with ink. wasn't a big deal, but be aware that you may need to do some cleaning, sanding and polishing before assembling the handle. Third, they are extremely easy to use and make attractive fountain pens. When you get to the part where you want to mount the converter, unscrew the different sections on it. There should be two different screw sections, one for the two spring halves and one to hold the transducer in the stem half. The small brass part with a burr and threads on the outside is for the barrel, the one with a smooth outside and threads on the inside is for the cap. Glue them on with a tiny bit of superglue, making sure the sides of the barrel and cap are still screwed together. This is very easy, but be careful not to use too much glue and accidentally mix up the threads. After the glue has dried, screw the converter into the body and you have a finished fountain pen.
