This filter looks exactly like the one I've bought in the past so I figured I'd get the same filter. OR HEAT - THEN PLASTIC(?) RESIDUES REMAIN IN THE WATER AND ON THE WATER SURFACE. In the photos I posted, I boiled filtered water (top) and tap water (bottom). What interested me was that I was brewing coffee and when the coffee cooled it left a residue that I thought was cream or something. I've sometimes brewed tea, made a cup of tea and forgotten it - once it was on my table and cooled, I noticed it had the same film on it as my coffee BUT THERE WAS NO CREAM IN MY TEA. I was horrified to learn that I had been drinking POTAMINED WATER FROM THIS FILTER for AT LEAST two to three months. Well NOT ONLY ME BUT MY FAMILY! Being a poisoned product that is supposed to help remove toxins is totally unacceptable - and obviously contaminates everything I have cooked/cooked for my family as we use filtered water for everything. I am TERRIBLE at what my family and I have been exposed to. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE REMOVED AND INVESTIGATED IMMEDIATELY. Someone from QC was definitely asleep when mine went through the line :(
