Review on Assembla by Luke Hodes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy collaboration with an awesome support staff

I like that it's open source; you can download all of your own code without paying any licensing fees or subscription costs! The fact they're constantly evolving their product makes them seem very stable to me as well which helps when making decisions about where projects should be hosted (i'm not looking at other options). There are no issues specifically from using assemblala but maybe something specific we were working out? This software has allowed us access our development files while having peace-of mind knowing there isn't anything else being stored outside GitHub/Bitbucket etc.. I like that Assembla is a fully managed service. It is easy to set up and get going. It is not easy to scale out if you need more storage. I would like to use it for all of our projects, but it is only for a few of our projects. It is a great way for us to keep track of our projects. It allows us to collaborate on our projects. It makes it easy for our team to work on projects together.
