I just started a regular Iyengar practice a couple of months ago so straps were a necessity and I initially picked up a 6 & 10 foot but when I received them I immediately ordered an 8 foot too! The material is surprisingly soft yet very well constructed. They appear to be incredibly durable, I cannot imagine ever having to replace them. They feel great on my skin and do their jobs great. Nice buckles with super easy functionality as well. The only negatives are the cotton isn't organic and the color selections for the 8 foot are somewhat limited; I would have preferred a different color but not enough choices.
