Does NOT protect against vapor leaks

Although the website states this cap was for my 2004 Yukon SUV, it does not protect against vapor leaks as it is threaded and not notched as required by the manufacturer My GMC car. I've been trying to stop evap code with this CSP for over a month. Nothing good!
