Remember when Hunter fans were at the top? Never. I noticed two issues with this fan early in the installation process. The mounting bracket is not suitable for a standard small size lightbox which can normally be handled by a lay craftsman. The worst was yet to come. When I installed the fan, plugged it in and turned it on it was noisy and wobbly - try to sleep with that rumble coming from the fan in your bedroom! I called Hunter's hotline for help, assuming they could send me a new motor. Not correct! The support rep was grasping at straws trying to figure out what was going on when it was revealed that she had little to no knowledge of electric motors. Their protocol is to send you a series of small parts to try out one at a time, none of which can replace a terrible engine that is poorly if not cheaply designed and/or built. I should have guessed it when I saw the small print "Made in China" pretty well hidden on the box. Thank you Revain for a good return policy!
