At least in my project the cables were wrong. I can't speak for everyone, but all four of mine were wrong. Black wire is positive, red is negative. And unfortunately I didn't find out all that until I had connected everything to the bike and tested it. So. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was as everything else I plugged in worked, but not that. (Connected to SAE USB charger). And check each cable for accuracy. There was no USB charging. There was no charging cable included. It was the reverse wiring of those real cables. Be sure to. The rest works as it should.
