I'm 5'9" 150 lbs. and got the large because I'm tall, but a medium would fit better (they are too long and loose in waste). I probably should have looked at the sizing more closely, no fault of seller. I'll just give them some extra hot dryer time. They are so soft and are on the lighter side, great for working at home or lounging, but are also okay to wear out. I'm reluctant to buy any type of pants with rear pockets because they tend to accentuate my butt, but I took a chance and these do not. Good purchase
