Edit (5/10/2018): I got a replacement a few months ago and decided to update the review as promised. Since then, the new block has been working pretty well, but the scale has to be reset a lot more times than I'd like. After about a week of normal use, it will fix at a certain value and continue to display that value after weighing. The device only displays your current values correctly after the reset. Hopefully this will be fixed in future firmware updates. First review: I received my QardioBase 2 this afternoon and after setting it up I have nothing but bad news. I followed the prompts, entered my personal profile information and set the scale to "normal" mode. When I stepped on the scale they happily reported my weight and nothing else, even though the surface was clean and my feet were bare. I've reset the device several times and the setup went smoothly, but the result hasn't changed. When I tested the device several times, it reported a "memory error" and my results were not syncing to my app. I've emailed support and haven't even received confirmation that my ticket has been received. The last straw was trying to set it up for my girlfriend on her phone. I downloaded the app, created an account and continued the same process only to get to the part where you step on the scale as instructed. The scales didn't recognize them despite the included Bluetooth. Instead, he weighed her as a guest. After trying to restart the device again, the display shows "shutdown" but there is nothing on it. "Step off" is still displayed even after switching off and on again. A reset of the device is currently not possible. I will be returning it to Revain for a replacement as there is nothing on the support site to fix this issue and from what I have read in other reviews I will probably never get a response from support anyway. I will update this review when the second block is better.
