Review on πŸ‘ž Medium-sized Black Pack of 1 United Ortho Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot by Bret Wong

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This boot is too heavy

I've been in a cast for almost 2 weeks and will be switching to hiking boots in the next 4-5 weeks. Ouch! 6-7 weeks without stress. I bought this boot because it had great reviews, was very reasonably priced, and helped me avoid paying a high price for a similar item at the doctor's office. This is a well built boot. Firmly. Lots of Velcro closures. Safe and reliable "air" system. I wanted to love it! Unfortunately I am sending it back as it is very, very, very heavy. For example, it's unreasonably heavy - and I train a lot, so I'm pretty strong. I just felt like I would lose my balance in these boots because they seemed to shift my center of gravity. Of course I know I lost some muscle mass in my leg after the surgery, but still. I felt like I was about to kneel off the ATV (and it has an EQ wheel on top of that). Well I think this hiking shoe could come in handy when worn for leg raise training. It's certainly heavy enough to act as a calf weight. I think if you are not worried about the weight you will like the product because it is well made and the sizing is very accurate. I will take advantage. free return and buy a hiking shoe that is half the weight. I agree to pay double for the best comfort and security.
