I was using two of these as bridles to attach a 200 foot tow line to my 12 ton (23,500 lb) sailboat when it broke in the water went lifeboat towed me in rough seas for 7 hours and the "Spring" sling most likely saved my boat from serious damage (the tug captain was impressed) And despite the stress and salt water the fishing line still looks good new with no signs of wear or scratches I can only recommend this product.
