I did A LOT of research when looking for a new surveillance system. Six months of research until the final decision for this system. My review is long but I hope it saves you time and helps you decide. 😊 To put it simply, I highly recommend it! After all my research and consideration, I have settled on THIS monitor. 👍Love tilt and zoom. Simple is my favorite feature. More useful than I thought. And this is the main feature that made me choose this system. There are reviews that complain about the picture and sound quality. I can't help but assume that these folks are so used to HD video and high-quality speakers that they've overlooked the reality of baby monitors. 😉 The picture quality is certainly not HD, but still excellent. We've never had a problem recognizing what's happening on screen. And the sound is the same. It's not something you want to listen to music through, BUT it does a great job as a monitor. I bought an extra camera and it was very easy to connect. Spacing seems to work well. We have two acres of land and I've never had a connection problem. So far the battery is holding up great. And battery life was my biggest issue with our latest surveillance system. I also liked the temperature gauge (and didn't buy one for it, so that's a bonus for us). The rooms in our house usually have different temperatures. So if it gets too hot or too cold in one of the children's rooms, I know that the thermostat needs to be adjusted. I also like the ability to customize a lot of settings. according to your needs/desires. There are alarms you can set for a specific temperature so the video monitor will notify you when the room reaches the temperature you set. And you can set timers if you want to wake up the baby after a certain time. You can set how long your monitor screen stays on before you fall asleep. So it's pretty customizable. THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE: I wish there were volume buttons and you didn't have to go into the menu to change the volume. BUT if you exit the menu at the volume, you learn very quickly how to quickly open the volume to control it up and down.
