My high hopes for this toy not realized

This toy arrived this afternoon. My two year old cat, who needs more amusement and exercise than she gets, quickly figured out how to rip off the swirling feather attachment on top and then immediately fished out the feathers inside with one paw and ate them. Not good. This toy might be ok for a small kitten but it is not durable and strong enough for an adult cat. It needs to be about 3 times larger/heavier and much tougher to rip apart. The concept is clever, though.
