I bought this to cover my 25ft oxygen hose because my cat kept chewing holes in the commonly used clear plastic hoses. This prevented delivery of the required amount of O2. Yes of course. It is very easy to cut this product, burn the ends as suggested, cap the oxygen tubing and tape the ends. I used bandage tape. What a wonderful idea! I don't know if this cat is just skeptical about the color black, or if it has already tested its "chewing ability". But SHE COMPLETELY IGNORES IT NOW! OMG. I'm so happy! There is also a BONUS FEATURE for me. Now my hose doesn't kink anymore. Lays flat and doesn't curl. This keeps the hose from snagging and could save me from breaking my hip again! lol Another fantastic plus is that because it's black I can SEE the hose a lot easier. White may be a better choice for others. i prefer black I'm open to questions from others who might be interested in this particular usage. My absolute TOP"minimum investment" for 2021! Update: June 2021 Wrapping my O2 hose around caused moisture to build up in the hose. I had to remove. There is still no solution to this annoying cat problem. =P Otherwise it's a great product!
