Bought for Zoom meetings. The built-in camera of my laptop (HP Envy 17T) delivered a very poor picture. What's good: The camera worked right away as soon as I plugged it into the USB port. I'm using Windows 10. Installation was surprisingly easy. The picture is excellent and unlike my laptop's cameras, doesn't react to distant background light. The manual focus doesn't bother me. Actually I like it. I can adjust the focus so that the background is a little blurry, but the image is crystal clear. Cons: The microphone is pretty terrible. Looks like I'm in a tunnel. I just switched it back to my laptop mic and it works fine. I deducted a star for that. Overall, I think this is a great deal at $40, especially since I can't find anything else under $250 right now. The sudden need for cameras as a result of the house arrest ordinance made them almost impossible to find. I'm glad I bought this. it helped a lot. FYI, the virtual background in zoom still doesn't work with this camera. But that's not the camera's fault. It turns out that this feature doesn't work with my laptop's (graphics card) video capabilities. A new camera doesn't help.
