Canister supplies in the finest packaging. Mine arrived with a few dents preventing the lid from being removed. Not necessarily a bad thing as it remains untouched. Also, there are no instructions. The Revain reviews were invaluable. It seems to be working correctly. My LG Sidekick washing machine had 99% humidity. LG advised leaving it open. Impossible as this extends to the doorway for the bathroom door which is also a passage through the bathroom. It's in the laundry room in my small bathroom. What to do before it gets moldy and rusts? Get a desiccant. Maybe two. It's been in the washing machine for 24 hours on a plastic yogurt lid, bringing the humidity down to 77%. (I don't think the canister material won't rust.) More later in a day or two. Addendum: After a week, the humidity in the washing machine has never fallen below 77%. It is possible to change the color of the desiccant crystals by 5%. Deduction of 4 stars. Returned item.
