Review on πŸ‘‘ Teva Women's Olowahu Flip Flop - Athletic Shoes for Women by John Naidu

Revainrating 2 out of 5

What happened? fits women

Edit: I've checked out Teva in local stores - none of the new models have the plastic 'mush' logo seen on previous models so this is a new feature . I was wrong about the size - it should be the same. I've been wearing Teva for a while now - I usually buy a new pair every 2-4 years depending on how often I wear them. Thanks to their cushioned footbed, they've always been fantastic for walks and light outdoor activities. I am very disappointed with this last pair that I bought. Looks like the company decided to lower the quality. Comparing the flip flops I bought with my old pair I bought in 2015 shows many differences (see photos - old on the right). The insole appears to be a different foam, which for some reason is glossy, than the dense matte foam used previously, which leads me to suspect that the foot impresses much sooner and wears out much quicker. I like that the plastic heel tag is gone, but it didn't bother me that much at first. The sole protection is the same, but it has a strange fabric (?). Looking at the Teva website I see that Olowahu has a plastic heel logo but Mush Kalea has these other features so I'm not sure if that's a new design or maybe even a fake. Buyers beware.
