I got this comforter because our old one had a large rip in it and it was time. My husband likes a heavy weighted comforter but man is he a furnace. We have tried different ones but either they were too light for him or too hot for me. This one is heavy enough for him and is still cool enough for me to sleep under with him. The one draw back, which others have commented on also, is that with a thicker mattress and box spring, the side of the comforter are shorter than pictured. They overlap about 2 foot on each side, so plenty to get under and snuggle, but if you are expecting them to reach the floor then you should go a size up. Overall for the price, we would buy it again. Also, it came almost a week ahead of schedule even with coronavirus issues!
