Much better than most reviews I've read, I risked the very low price and it really paid off. One-piece, easy to assemble with cable ties, the cable connects directly to the battery (or any positive or negative 12 volt constant power source). If it's mounted behind the gas tank and points down and backwards, a car that pulls up too close to you will hear the sound as if it's coming from behind. I installed mine right next to the radiator pointing straight down. The sound bounces off the pavement and sounds impressively LOUD! Using any of the 3 siren functions on a public road is most likely illegal, but setting one is like a fire horn. Much louder than a normal car horn. Great for phoning the grandkids to come to the car when they want to play.
