I have a curly type 3a and for a long time tried to tie it with a scarf for the night. Unfortunately, I got a headache almost every morning because the knot hurt. However, this hat is simply heavenly. I've noticed a huge improvement in my curls. I wake up with no headaches either, and it didn't even fall off during the night.
