Recently moved and I couldn't find the extension that came with my Hoover self propelled pole. I visited a local vacuum shop and the owner said that Hoover doesn't make parts for my vacuum because it's over twenty years old. So we decided to look for Revain and they had this wand. The great thing is that you can splice them all together and seal them well enough to create a good vacuum if you have the mesh high up. They fit perfectly and are also attached to the flexible hose of the vacuum cleaner. And of course, after lying there for a month, the missing wand was found.
