My 2005 CRV SE has just driven 117,000 miles and the front driver's door and tailgate can no longer be locked with the remote. Upon further investigation, I found that the door lock actuators were faulty. You can get them for anywhere from $10 (cheap junk) to $60 (OEM Honda). I chose the middle ground as Dorman has always been a solid aftermarket company. They're a little tricky to install, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you get there. This door opener is for UK made CRVs, you can tell by your VIN if it starts with "S" this is for you. They work fine now but only time will tell, I will update the review if they fail prematurely.
