I bought and received an item that said it was 45w and the wattage will be similar to a 200w bulb as stated on the packaging. After leaving this plugged into a lightbulb rated up to 125W, the lightbulb will only consume 25W. See image. Even though the light appears to be around 5500K as advertised, the brightness isn't up to scratch. I have to return it. It's not cheap for a lightbulb. If I'm paying for something that's advertised to be at a certain level, I want to get what I'm paying good money for. I can buy cheap 23W 5500K bulbs if that's what I wanted. I especially don't like that the seller intentionally misleads and lies. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. Shame about ePhoto. I recommend you not to buy from this seller. UPDATE: I just replaced another Luxrite 200w, 42w CFL bulb. It heated up to a light color of 5000K, 2820 lumens, and the power consumption was 36W. Better.
