i bought this for my bathroom because like most people i only have 1 socket. I wanted the cable to be out of the way and still be able to connect devices with larger GFI connectors, such as B. a hair dryer can connect. It works perfectly! I actually reversed it from the promotional image where the mini sits on top of the socket and stays nice and stable in the socket leaving enough room to plug everything into the bottom socket.
