UPDATED REVIEW: After 3 months I was doing scheduled maintenance on this printer and noticed the combo bed connector was stuck in its socket. I pulled it from its nest with some difficulty and was greeted by the spectacle depicted in the photos accompanying this review. The bed connector was burning on the ground side, which is likely (as there is no char on the live side) due to a lack of strain relief causing the connector to momentarily lose contact and heat up on that side during normal printing. operations. I have replaced the printer with a new one with a modified strain relief bed cable which I am sure will fix the problem permanently. The seller also got back to me and sent me a new set of bedding so I had a spare just in case. Having solved these problems, I can recommend this printer again. ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: I bought this printer as a second printer. That was great. It was really easy to set up and print well out of the box. The E steps weren't nearly the same as the x/y steps, but a little calibration made up for that. The BLTouch mount was a nice addition and I had no trouble adding a table height sensor to the printer. Since then I've had great print quality with the same profile I use for my Ender 3. Pros: The design of the hotend is great and it already includes everything I would add myself; the expansion ports on the back of the printer are really useful and work as advertised; The TFT-LCD is pretty good and you can type a G-code on it - my favorite way to control the printer; and it looks like a finished product, not a kit. A few negatives: The tool-less Y-belt tensioner needed external lubrication to quiet the intermittent creaking; the X-belt does not come with a tool-less tensioner; the heads of the hex screws break off easily when using power tools; Difficult to find a purple color suitable for printing updates. there are no instructions to safely install the platform after removal; and the fans are not the quietest of the normal ones.
