all i needed was a simple camera for my youtube videos. Unfortunately, the disadvantages of this camera outweigh the disadvantages. This camera is an unnamed Chinese brand which makes it very cheap but very unfunctional for the average beginner. Good luck finding help online for this model and do not rely on the manual as it is not very intuitive. It's literally just recording to AVI, which means you'll need Premier Pro (rather than Rush) to import the video into the editing software. Dates are weird. The camera's touchscreen is terrible. The camera buttons are confusing and annoying (thank goodness for the remote). My biggest problem is that the USB port just isn't connected to my computer anymore, so I couldn't import the video? Last week was literally good. he takes horrible pictures so don't worry about that. By the way, I'm not a picky person when it comes to technologies, I just need them to make them work functionally and simply. All in all, if you're not tech savvy and don't want to make a lot of edits, just use your iPhone for YouTube videos (that's why I bought it). Save up for a Canon or even Sony real brand camera.
