I had a busted ant and didn't want a motorized one, I've actually made a taco whip mod on many of my other trucks and I regret ever wasting time or money on any of them. It's 10 times lighter, about half the price, and the only "downside" is that the stock ant motor runs when you start or turn off the truck for about 3-4 seconds. doesn't really matter and can probably be fixed quickly with a piece of wire and tape if it really bothers you that much. I literally installed mine in a car wash. I had already removed the broken mast by this point, so it just slid in. I also like that I can still unscrew the real ant from the mount when walking through car washes. I know it's unlikely she'll break, but I still do it for peace of mind.
