We took a long trip in our 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. It has a DVD player, but these days who wants to use a DVD. So we searched for something that would allow us to mirror the screen of our devices (iPhone, iPad and MacBook) on the DVD player monitor. So we bought this thing and hardly expected it to work. BUT IT WORKS! However, you must purchase a Lightning to Digital AV Adapter. It also works very well! The video quality will not be that good because the monitor is very old. But it also transmits sound to your car. However, a slight hum can be heard due to engine noise. But you don't notice it while something is playing. Overall it works very well and I would definitely recommend it for longer trips!
