I hate leaving bad product reviews but wish people knew what they were getting. Let me say the positives first. This costume looks very nice and I wanted to like it so much. I ordered the XL and expected it to be a little tight, but it's not. Sizes 42-40-44, I usually take size 18. So it fits well. I am very disappointed in the quality of the material used. We received it in white. Maybe it's just this color? I do not know. A lot of the swimwear we've bought in the past has a cool, smooth feel, not this one. It looks like a pair of underpants from Walmart. Even after one use at the lake and one wash, some seem to fall apart. Maybe I'm too fat? The disappointment for me is bigger because this is the only ruffled and ruffled cutout bottoms for boys I could find and I really wanted it to be pretty. I also attached a bow to it so it feels better when you buy it :) It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because it looks really nice, just poor quality. I hope this helps customers.
