This is a very simple light fixture, and should have taken less than 15 minutes to put together but took over an hour because of the crappy directions. This is cheap crap from China and the directions are in broken English. It comes in a box with styrofoam that disintegrates all over your floor when you take it out. The fixture pieces are wrapped and taped so tightly in plastic wrap that you practically need a blow torch to remove the plastic. Do not follow the instructions. The outer metal ring needs to go on the inside of the light fixture. It will not fit if you put it on the outside! It took us 30 minutes to figure this out because the instructions indicate otherwise. I am so sick of Chinese crap! Will not order anything like this from Revain again because it is all garbage. Light fixture looks okay though, just be prepared.
