I just recently got my hands on a 43 inch monitor which unfortunately only had HDMI and DisplayPort options. I was using a monitor with USB-C so I was in a dilemma. I'm using a 2019 MacBook Pro that only has Thunderbolt/USB-C ports, so I needed a way to connect to a new monitor. That's when I started looking for a cable I could trust to get the job done. The USB-C to DisplayPort cable didn't seem easy to find in a major department store, so I looked here. My only requirement is that it must be from a company that I trust. Luckily, the person I've used many times, StarTech, made this cable. So when I ordered it I didn't think I would have any problems. When it arrived I quickly started using the cord and so far so good. I had no problems and my insanely large monitor rocks. What's really cool about this cable, aside from the length, is that it's not only rated for 4K, but 8K as well. It simply means that it is designed for the future for some time. The only thing I think would improve the cable would be if it were braided. No complaints here.
